Freedom through Yoga – Yoga Retreat With Krissi Cook
Join us for a transformative retreat that blends deep yoga philosophy with ample time for relaxation and joy. Each day, we'll explore a different aspect of Hatha Yoga, diving into the foundational principles and practices that make this tradition so powerful. You'll learn about the essence of Hatha Yoga, its goals, and the profound benefits it offers. We'll delve into the subtle body, discussing the Nadis and chakras, as well as essential elements of a yoga class, including bandhas, drishti, and breath control.
We’ll also cover Kriyas and Shatkarmas—purification practices vital for maintaining balance and health—and explore the concept of the five sheaths, or koshas, which encompass the physical and subtle layers of our being. These topics will be approached with openness and curiosity, encouraging a space for thoughtful discussion and personal insight.
In addition to the enriching philosophical sessions, this retreat emphasizes the importance of balance. We’ve set aside plenty of time for you to unwind, connect with others, and simply enjoy life. Whether you’re seeking deep learning or light-hearted fun, this retreat offers the perfect blend for a rejuvenating experience.
